On Monday August 28th 2023, the Evangelical Theological Seminary of Port-au-Prince (STEP Seminary) welcomed a new promotion via the bachelor theology program and a new promotion via the Wives of Pastors program for the academic year 2023-2024.
Following the opening ceremony that has taken place at the aforementioned date, 50 new students for the bachelor program and 16 for the Wives of Pastors program, coming from all of the horizons of Haiti, and mean to study Bible and Theology in good conditions. According to many students, their attention was captured from the first week of classes by the quality of STEP Seminary services, the seriousness of the STAFF and the content of the curriculum. Here is what the student William Trevil told us about his experiences at STEP Seminary : “I believe that studying at STEP Seminary is one of the best choices I have made in my life. I find that STEP Seminary is more than just a theological training school, it is a place of conviviality and fraternity where the student feels supported to attain to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. At STEP Seminary, leaders practice what they teach and their way of serving remains an example to follow.”
Furthermore, these new students are already bonding with an extraordinary fraternity and creating a warm atmosphere to study the Word of God in reciprocal collaboration. We hope that this study cycle that they are undertaking at STEP Seminary will be a joyful experience for them, as is always the case for previous promotions.
Convinced that its mission still gets justification in that difficult time than ever in Haitian society, STEP Seminary is steadfast to prepare maturing Haitian Christian leaders to make disciples of Christ to transform their communities to the glory of God. If someone has been seeking a good place in Haiti for his theological training, STEP Seminary is the best one.
